At Last.

Well our trip was very successful. Here is our big news!! Troy got a wonderful job. He will be managing a custom manure and nutrient program for a 2500 acre farm. He will also be doing GPS and soil sampling. As well as this he will be planting and helping with harvest. How blessed we are to be able to care for God's land, a resource so many take for granted.

In other news, we bought a house!!! It is perfect. Although the inside is 70's decor, everything looks brand new. It is 2 blocks down from the Christan School, and the back yard is gorgeous and large. Also, there are no houses behind us, our backyard backs up to a church and church parking lot. We are very excited.
Thank you for all of the prayer.....It was definitely God's hand as smooth as all of this went.

Rachel, my husband wanted to know if your husband worked for the Keyser farm? He thought he looked familiar and thought the name was familiar :) Farmers live in a small world don't they? ;-)

Hi Rachel - Sorry that it took me so long to reply to your post on my blog. It's been pretty crazy trying to get back into life in the States. (you posted on my blog last week asking about churches in sioux center). :) Congrats on getting a house and getting ready to move to the great sioux area! As for churches, you're right, there are a ton of them. i am a part of Christ Community Church, which is a Bible believing, Jesus-following church. :) we do have more of the "contemporary" style of worship, though our worship leader tries to incorporate hymns and some older songs, too. I love the family atmosphere there and we admit that we're a church of broken people, trying to serve God the best we can. sorry...i'm not trying to give a speech about our church, but it's the one i know about, so i don't want to tell you about churches i don't know about. if you have more questions or anything, feel free to email me (jshspr@gmail.com). i actually work in the social work field, too, so if you're looking for a job, even parttime, i could probably help you out with that. anyway, i hope this has helped you and i pray that the move goes smoothly and safely for you and your family! God bless!
