Play Land at Centerpoint...

A few of these boys just wanted to be in the pictures, we don't know who they are!
Look at Noah, copping a pose!!!
Now it's Zach's turn!!

Okay, so there is only so much sanity when it is March, and temps are cold, and the kids are driving you crazy. Take them to the local playland. Along with Kim, and Tanya, we took all of the kids to Centerpoint yesterday. (4 kids and a baby) Although it was also nice for some mom talk, the kids really enjoyed themselves too. The best part was when we walked into Fridays for Lunch, and told the hostess that we had seven people, plus a baby and we needed one booster seat. She looked at us....and stated "How Many" "Sorry it's early" Kim then turned to me and said, "remember when 11:30 was eary!!" Oh, the days! Oh, buy the way did I mention that we only have 3 days (not counting today) unitil the baby is born! YEA!!

Wow, how fast a week goes....

So now that we are to 2 weeks and counting, the time seems to be going extremely fast, which is crazy. Usually at the end of the pregnancy the time drags on and on. Sorry I have not posted lately, things are crazy around here. Troy and I have both been extremely busy, but at least taxes are done. YEA!! Anyways, have a doctors appointment tomorrow, and then I will see him for the last time next week. We'll let ya know any info that I find out tomorrow. Until then....

At the end of a long day.....

At the end of a long exhausting day, what could be cuter than you 2½ year old repeating his bedtime prayer in his precious 2½ year old voice. With an adorable amen at the end, it really makes up for all of the tantrums, the ignoring mom and dad, and even throwing toys when mad. God really knew what he was doing when he made children. No matter what they put us through, they are so precious and they deserve our utmost love. “The LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion.” Numbers 14:18

3 weeks and Counting....

Okay three weeks to go and I am defintley counting. Actually less than three weeks as of Today, but what are a few extra days right? I am feeling pretty good overall, but I am ready for this baby to be born. I can't wait to see if He has Troy's hair, or mine, and whoes nose he gets. Anyways keep us in your prayers as we await this precious gift. And please pray for my paitence during this time. Thanks!!

God is so Good

Please pray for our sister in Christ Ann, whose Daughter Jenna has gone to be with her king at the age of 16. She was imperfect in the worlds eyes, yet we know that God makes no mistakes!!!! Please remember that she is now able to run, not needing a wheelchair, and she in no longer in pain!! Praise God that he has taken her to be with him, how blessed is she to be in the perfect place that God has prepared for us.

Please Keep Ann and her Family in your prayers as this has been a difficult time for them.

How do you know when you are tired??

Well, when your mom comes out of the kitchen, to see what you are getting into (because you are so quiet) and this is what she sees, I think you might be tired. This week has been a whirlwind. Between replacing Troy's transmission (Yea!) Thank God for the Emergency Fund, (Dave Ramsey) and all of the snow, and cold temps, and all the Preschool open houses, It's been a crazy week. Yes, Preschool I know it is so crazy. It will be so good for Zach, as much as he loves the interaction and socialization that he gets at Sunday School, we really feel like he will enjoy preschool next year. He seems to be excited as well. Although he seems disappointed that he will not be able to ride on the big yellow school bus. =) I on the other hand would not be ready to let him get on a bus, so thankfully we have a few years before that happens. Have a great week!!

What to do??

So, what do you do when the wind chill is -20? You play inside, and that is what we have been doing. For those of you who live under a rock and don't watch the news or turn the radio on, here in the northeast US we have been experiencing abnormally cold temps. I think that Zach is being pretty patient, but I know that he wants to go out in all of the snow. I guess this is Gods way of reminding us that we are blessed to have a warm home, and food on our table every night. God Bless!!

An update...

You may be wondering what is going on with us, and where we are on the road of many choices. Well we are trying to be patient. We are praying ALLOT, and waiting for something to happen, waiting for God to show us his will for our lives. Did I mention that we are praying.....allot. Anyways, keep us in your prayers as well. (We all know how great I am with Patience!?) And keep Baby Bowman in your prayers....A little over 4 weeks until he shows his precious face to the world. How perfect he will be...my God does not make mistakes. Can't Wait!!

A Willing Spirt

While reading my Bible Study this week entitled "A Willing Spirit" I was thinking about the upcoming decisions that Troy and I are trying to make. (I know that no one actually knows what these decisions entail, I promise when we feel the time is right we will share) Anyways the Author talks about our willingness to say yes to God without asking how, when and why. I believe that it is easier said then done. I want to rearrange our lives to accomplish God's plan, how do we know what his plans are? I feel like there is so much room for interpretation. Anyways, we don't expect answers, but feel free to leave comments.

Good Fellowship, Good Food, and Great Friends...

This past weekend we spent with the Little's in Perrinton, MI. (They used to be our neighbors when we lived in Ionia) We had a great time. Zach and Garrett got along great, as normal, and We had so much fun just hanging out. We played Nintendo Weii, wow it is actually so fun!!! This comes from the girl that never was allowed to play video games when she was young (Thanks Mom and Dad) But this is way better, Bowling, Boxing, Tennis, Golf, and who can forget Cow racing. Anyways, We had a great time, and are looking forward the the next visit with Aaron, Jen and Garrett.

We ask for help...

We as a family are asking for you prayers right now. We are trying to determine whether God is pulling us in a different direction. Sometimes things in life happen that make you really look at the choices in front of you. We have some big ones coming up that effect our future. Please pray for us and ask God to give us the knowledge to see where he is leading us. Thanks.

Greetings from Meto Hospital....

Well, two months, three hospital visits and TWO kidney stones later, I need to continue to focus on the end result, and healthy, happy baby boy. But can I say poor Troy and Zach. They have had to deal with a not so "fun" mom and wife lately. And what is up with the "waiting game" that you get to play when you are a prisoner of the hospital. Nobody knows when or if you get to go home, and everybody that you ask says, hold on let me see what I can find out, and then they disappear forever!!! Any ways on a more positive note.......Well..........I think that I can go home today, although I have not seen the doctor yet. Anyways, they have no real good reason to keep me since I already passed the stone, and I am no longer in pain. So farewell for now, and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks

Happy New Year

While reflecting this morning on the new year that has begun, I again realize that God works in mysterious ways. Are we doing the work that God has created us to do? Are we where we are suppose to be? Have we touched lives in the past year, and are there some that may have slipped by us in the busyness of life? I ask that as you are thinking about "New Years Resolutions" that you not lose sight of our purpose on this earth. And that we remember why we celebrate this CHRISTmas season. God Bless All and Happy New Year.
